Unfortunately Santa Cruz is not exactly the fashion captial of the world. that is unless you consider streteched out purple leggings with berkin stocks and uncombed hair fashionable! I'm pretty much forced to get all my fashion inspiration from magazines and when I head into SF. SF is much more preppy than LA, also probably cause the weather sucks there compared to down South.

I disagree I've been to LA a couple of times and the weather does not suck. If you think so you should go to salt lake city, and experience weather! I wish everyone in LA would stop wearing the big sunglasses haha. Makes everyone look like aliens.
