It was big news in the blogging world when Paris Hilton, the woman who personifies the trashy party girl aesthetic, showed up for an interview on David Letterman last week looking pretty, understated, and - dare I say it?! - relatively classy. Both Fab Sugar and Go Fug Yourself were beside themselves as they gave Paris the thumbs up for her vibrant green Diane Von Furstenberg dress, elegant accessories and flattering hairstyle.
I'm no fan of Paris' look ordinarily, but I'm going to have to agree here - she looks uncommonly good! The color is vibrant and unexpected, and the hint of black lace underneath is sexy but not over-the-top, and even her fake tan seems to be toned down. Does Paris really look good here or are we just grading on a curve?
