a number of lovely offerings from Marc Jacobs - unsurprising, really, considering almost every fashionista I know is obsessed with him to varying degrees. Marc has made a career out of straddling the line between ladylike and quirky, yet I was still caught off guard by the unabashed playfulness of these
Metallic Mouse Flats. They're so cute! I love the way the black patent leather accents contrast with the metallic silver of the shoe, and the attention to detail is fantastic, from the little black bow on the mouse's head to the whiskers to the twirly tail near the heel of the shoe (click on the picture at right to see the tail!). Unfortunately, the triple-digit price tag means that these mousy wonders will remain a mere fantasy for me, but still...a girl can dream!
