My favorite piece from Old Navy's new fall ads is this cute color block cardigan:
I absolutely live in cardigans, as they usually provide the perfect level of warmth for autumn in L.A., and they're lightweight enough to shove in your bag and tote everywhere. I particularly love the playful contrasting trim and big, oversized buttons on these. They manage to come across as very back-to-school without looking juvenile. My favorite is the navy cardigan with olive trim, although I'm also fond of the plum with gray trim and the classic black & white as well. Wouldn't they look cute over a patterned dress with stockings and Mary Janes or with skinny jeans and boots?! You can also match them up with color block camis in coordinating colors. Something about these cardigans makes me picture myself crunching through fallen leaves on my way to the library...sigh.
