RESULTS?
I was really looking forward to trying this product because, as I've mentioned, I've been breaking out lately. So I'm happy to report that, true to form, Neutrogena didn't disappoint. I've only been using this product for about 5 or 6 days now - not even a full week - and I've already seen improvements in my skin. The tiny bumps on the sides of my face and near my jawline (probably where I rest my hand while reading; bad habit!) have definitely reduced in number, and my skin has a more even tone. I've mainly been using this as my morning cleanser (coupled with a gentle bar soap and Neutrogena's Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Gel at night), but I did test it out as a mask as well, and the results were equally exciting. I only left it on for about three or four minutes, but my skin was softer, smoother and much less oily after I rinsed it off. And the results really seem to last; I barely even use my blotting papers anymore during the day. Hurray!
PROS: Has already helped reduce the oiliness of my skin and eliminate much of my acne - and that's with only a few days of use! Imparts a pleasant, subtle tingle. Can function as a cleanser or a mask, making it twice as useful. Smells better than expected.
CONS: I really can't think of any, although the label warns against possible irritation for sensitive skin and the potential drying effects of the benzoyl peroxide. Despite the fact that my skin is pretty sensitive, I haven't had any problems so far. However, could prove to be too drying for people who aren't cursed with an oily complexion.
