Both of my new favorite nail colors come from
Rescue Beauty Lounge: Purple Haze, a vivid shade of violet that manages to be deeper than a pastel and more delicate than a jewel tone, and Stormy, a dark gray that calls to mind rain clouds or the ocean on an overcast day. Normally I love polishes with a little sparkle or shimmer, but I'm digging how matte these are, and I think both are such unexpected shades to pair with the latest warm-weather trends.
I love their idea of wearing Purple Haze with florals, to offset the sweetness, and Stormy would look amazing with the new neons or a mixed-print ensemble, to provide an understated counterpoint to all of the colorful madness. It would also be a great nail color for work, especially if your office leans toward the conservative side, so you can give the standard neutrals (beige, pale pink) a rest.
