Thierry Mugler, fashion designer extraordinaire and the mastermind behind the popular perfume Angel and its many offshoots (you may recall that Angel Violette is also the all-time favorite fragrance of yours truly!) is now trying his hand at cosmetics with his new makeup line, "Dare the Metamorphosis."
The line will feature such strange-sounding beauty products as blue concealer (center) and foundation, which Mugler believes "enhances the skin's natural radiance" (
Allure magazine swears that they tried both the foundation and concealer and that it gave them a "flawless--not Smurflike--complexion," so we'll see about
that) in addition to more covetable, less frightening items like a mascara ("vinyl gloss") intended to make lashes super-shiny and wet-looking, and the Plexi Gloss for lips, which tosses around space-age words like "ultraviolet," "liquid crystals" and "holographic."
I haven't heard anything about whether these products are scented, but if they are, I bet they smell amazing. Thierry Mugler, you crazy genius!
