RESULTS?
MEAGAN: This is one of my new favorites. It is so easy to use, it does dry quickly and it takes all of five minutes to do both my toes and my fingers. And Melissa’s fingers. I never realized how time consuming constantly redipping the brush into the polish can be. It’s like when they invented the ball point pen, making the ink well obsolete.
MELISSA: This was fun and relatively easy to use, but it really didn’t make painting my right hand any easier – I still glopped a good amount of polish all over the place. (Maybe not as much as I would have with a regular polish, but still!) I have to say, however, that the quality of the polish leaves something to be desired; even after two coats, my nails look a little streaky and uneven up close. They look great from a distance though!
PROS:
MEAGAN: Fast. Easy. Quick drying. Great colors.
MELISSA: The novelty of it – I was weirdly excited about a nail polish pen, and it was fun to use. Absurdly quick drying. Would be great to use if you wanted to give yourself a super speedy pedicure on your way out the door, or if you’re traveling.
CONS:
MEAGAN: The “long wearing” claim is not true on my fingers. My toes still look great though.
MELISSA: Slightly thinner than normal consistency makes for easier application but a sloppier-looking paint job. I would recommend this product only for special occasions that might warrant a mani/pedi on the go, but not for daily use.
